This mod provides a simple way to obtain light: the Light Bulb. It isn't particularly bright set alongside the other sources but it is cheap to make and fits a nice modern aesthetic over standard torches.
Glowstone continues to be a key advantage to light with this mod with the wood and iron glowstone bulbs.
These are normal Glowstone blocks ornamented by cup and either solid wood or flat iron depending on what cosmetic you like. They are much nicer blocks than simply using Glowstone and they should fit more cohesively with your designs. They appear a bit brighter than standard Glowstone also.
